Lindsey provided me with SPECIFICS on what I needed to do. Went over every detail and then some. Lots of great handouts, too. Convenient since was via Zoom. I feel like I got my money's worth. I would definitely recommend- I have told several people already. I am so glad I found KidneyRD and consider them to be Top Notch in the field of renal dietitians. I feel great, have tons of energy, am enjoying delicious food, and my lab results are amazing!

Cassandra is very knowledgeable and especially compassionate about the struggles of kidney disease and the dietary restrictions involved. She took her time to hear our questions and concerns and gave very good suggestions and real-life experiences that really made us more relaxed about any of my blood work results or current kidney status. I had questions about getting my potassium levels in control and implementing a Very-Low Protein Diet (VLPD) into my lifestyle. She made sure that I was using Cronometer correctly and improved my water intake habits. She was very easy to contact and ask any questions. I loved the convenience of having a dietitian that met with me weekly, kept an eye on what I ate and made sure that I was taking the right medicine and supplements for my stage of kidney disease. Communication with Cassandra was very easy and I really appreciate her going above and beyond to find information for some of my questions.

When we started, I believed there were very few choices about what I could eat. I switched from what I CANNOT eat to what I CAN eat on a PLANT-BASED menu, which is nearly everything. I always eat plant-based now and check sodium. I found I could relax into eating and reduce creatinine, etc., at the same time. She always took her time and made many useful, targeted personalized suggestions based on my Cronometer data. I felt Amy cared -- like she has been a partner in my approach to eating. Amy tried recipes before recommending them to me. Loved that I could use Zoom and take advantage of the unique expertise outside of my geographic area. I have recommended Kidney Nutrition Institute to two friends with CKD. Facing CKD alone was scary. I'm not afraid anymore; I am confident in taking good care of my kidneys. My lowered lab numbers are stable.Thank you!

The LEAP and Deep-Dive MRT programs literally saved my life. I found out I have Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) several years ago. When I found out I began reading about ways to improve my kidney health, stabilize it or, at the very least, slow the deterioration process. Everything I read seemed to have the same conclusion: dialysis. In frustration, I called my local hospital and asked for a dietitian specializing in Diabetes/CKD nutrition. I was told that they had yet to find one. Then I heard about Kidney Nutrition Institute and the work they do. I spoke to Jessianna Saville and decided to try the Deep-Dive VIP program. My doctors were unsure what caused my CKD since my diabetes was well controlled. Jessianna and I discussed the possibility of autoimmune problems. The MRT/ LEAP program addresses the affect gut health has on overall health. It isn't a hard program to follow but it isn't a breeze either. I decided it was worth trying it to stay off dialysis. Jessianna worked with me the entire time I was on the program, answering questions, planning the course I should take, and offering encouragement the whole time. After 4.5 months on the program, my CKD is stable and my GRF went from 36 to 40. I no longer have arthritis pain in my knees, my skin is clear, I'm feeling physically and mentally great AND I no longer need to take my diabetes medicine. I am beyond pleased at what this program did for me. I highly recommend it to those with health problems, but also those looking for a better way of eating and staying healthy.

I have followed a strict Keto diet for 29 weeks since my video call with Jessica. I have lost weight, lowered my blood pressure and stabilized my kidney function. Weight in March was 205, now between 175 and 178. I have had to buy smaller pants! Blood pressure was 135/85 (while taking two different blood pressure meds). Now on one med and 115/65. eGFR - Feb 9: 16, now 15. My nephrologist is very confused by my numbers being so stable. I was losing 1% kidney function per month, so at that rate I would have been at 9% now. A huge THANK YOU for your knowledge, wisdom and support ! YOU HAVE CHANGED MY LIFE!

— Paul K., PKD, Ketogenic Nutrition protocol

I was truly blessed when I found Kidney Nutrition Institute! When I found out I had PKD last year, the first thing I did was go to the internet. It became very confusing since every site said something different about what you should or shouldn’t eat. I became scared of eating the wrong thing and ended up losing a lot of weight and watching my health decline. I knew I needed help. Diana is very knowledgable about PKD, diet and understanding lab work to know what direction to go. I can’t thank her enough for what she’s done for me.
